Revolutionary Flex-PCBs!

For Electronica 2024, DP Patterning is partnering up with long-term customers Gentherm, Marquardt and many more to demonstrate groundbreaking applications for the DPP 360 flex-PCB production system. This year we also have a new addition – LIU Formula Student that will be showcasing their ER22 formula car. Visit us at hall B6, booth 526 and take a look at all the demonstrators!

DP Patterning will showcase the DPP 360, a production system designed to revolutionise flexible circuit board manufacturing with its sustainable, cost-effective solution. The DPP 360, enables producers of electronics to bring the production of flexible circuit boards in-house, integrated with final assembly, instead of relying on suppliers. The DPP 360 is customizable, and it simplifies the production process by cutting lead times, as well as significantly reducing transport and waste management.

Gentherm – customer demonstration

Gentherm is one of our customer demonstrators for Electronica 2024. They will showcase a sample produced with the DPP 360 system for the automotive industry. They are one of the world leaders in thermal management solutions for both comfort and performance, always with a close eye on environmental and sustainability issues.

One of the areas where Gentherm is growing rapidly is technology and innovations for electrical vehicles. This is also an area where Gentherm points out several benefits of working with the DPP 360 system.

Florian Hammerschmidt, Executive Director, Product Line Manager Battery Performance Solutions, says:

The mechanical structuring process allows Gentherm to manufacture flexible printed circuits for our Cell Connecting Boards that are more environmentally friendly than the traditional chemical etching process within the industry. Through studies with the Fraunhofer Institute, a German-based research organization, we can confirm that this results in a significant reduction of greenhouse gas equivalency emissions, water usage, and a range of other factors which help us deliver sustainable and innovative technology for our customers.
